Now paper published today in Optica showing ultra-broadband perfect terahertz imaging

The collaboration we started in 2012 with the University of Freiburg continues to give fruits, with a new paper pubished in OSA’s high impact journal Optica hitting the web today. We have identified and experimentally demonstrated a method for overcoming a fundamental limitation of sub-wavelength imaging using metamaterial wire media – which was previously only shown at Fabry-Perot resonances. We have extended the perfect imaging bandwidth by using ultra-short pulses and time-gating the back-reflections which induce image distortions. This solution is simple, elegant, highly effective, and generally applicable. Read more about it here!
